Get Ready for Confirmation!
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
Confirmation is an extremely important and pivotal moment in a student’s faith journey, and an exciting celebration at the end of PowerLife students’ eighth-grade year. While baptism is God saying “yes” to us, confirmation is us saying “yes” to God! Confirmation students will write a faith statement and read that statement aloud during Faith Statement Night. More information regarding confirmation will be communicated to parents and students directly.
Important Confirmation Dates
- Faith Statement Night: Wednesday, May 1, 2024 (students will be assigned to a service at 6:00 or 7:30 pm)
- Confirmation: Sunday, May 5, 2024 (students are assigned to a service at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00 am)
