Local Missions

On a Mission (From God)

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Here at Hope, we do that in a number of ways, both locally and globally! Below please find additional information on Hope’s local missions opportunities.

Visit our global missions page for additional opportunities outside of our community, including mission trips!

The Pantry at Hope

The Pantry at Hope is an available resource for anyone in need of food assistance. Guests may shop for food on Fridays from 1:00-4:00 pm. Volunteers are needed to help serve those visiting The Pantry, and financial gifts can also be made to help keep the shelves stocked each week!

Hope for Haiti Meal Packaging

For Hope’s 2025 Advent Project, you generously donated to help feed our hungry brothers and sisters in Haiti—now it is time to package meals! Our goal is to package 1.2 million meals in three days using the funds raised during Advent 2025: Hope for Haiti. Rally your family, friends, neighbors, or small group and sign up for a timeslot! All Hope campuses and Local Sites are invited to join us at Hope West Des Moines to help reach this goal. Thank you to our partners Meals from the Heartland, Convoy of Hope, and Many Hands for Haiti.
