Ghana Mission Trip Details
Team participants will partner with GlobeServe Ministries International in the work they are doing throughout Ghana. Making disciples of Jesus Christ is at the core of all that GlobeServe is involved in.
Participants may visit different villages, spend time with staff and children at GlobeServe’s school, assist in community health initiatives such as malaria education and mosquito net distribution, and have opportunities to learn cultural history.
Trip Dates: April 4-14, 2025
Trip Cost: $2,900-$3,500 (depending on airfare)
Trip Open to: Ages 16 or older. Those under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Focus: Fellowship, encouragement, worship & prayer, health and community-building initiatives, partner education
Work Level: Low

Changing COVID-19 measures may also impact the trip/cost; the Missions Department will make this information available on a case-by-case basis throughout the pre-trip process. The team will fly into Accra, Ghana, and will be met at the airport by GlobeServe staff.
Participants typically stay at a modest hotel with a restaurant. These hotels usually have air conditioning and private bathrooms.
The total cost covers airfare, food, and lodging. Passport and vaccination costs, food while traveling, and souvenirs are additional.
A current U.S. passport is required. Visit http://travel.state.gov/passport for more information on acquiring a passport.
Yellow fever vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination are required for entry into Ghana. Please consult your physician on recommended vaccinations, which may include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, typhoid, meningitis, preventative medication for malaria, booster as needed for tetanus-diphtheria, measles, and a one-time dose of polio vaccine for adults. Two months before departure, at least 50 percent of the trip total must be paid. One month prior to departure, the trip must be paid for in full.
