Ghana Mission Trip Details

Team participants will partner with GlobeServe Ministries International in the work they are doing throughout Ghana. Making disciples of Jesus Christ is at the core of all that GlobeServe is involved in. 

Participants may visit different villages, spend time with staff and children at GlobeServe’s school, assist in community health initiatives such as malaria education and mosquito net distribution, and have opportunities to learn cultural history. 

Trip Dates: October 7-19

Trip Cost: $1000 + Airfare (typically $2000)
 ***Depending on airfare costs at the time of purchase, as well as group size, this total trip cost could fluctuate.  

Trip Open to: Ages 16 or older. Those under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Requirements: Must have attended or be registered for Missions 101 Class

Focus: Working with local churches, Partner Support, Fellowship, Malaria Education

The team will fly into Accra, Ghana, and will be met at the airport by GlobeServe staff.

Participants typically stay at a modest hotel with a restaurant. These hotels usually have air conditioning and private bathrooms.

The total cost covers airfare, food, and lodging. Passport and vaccination costs, food while travelling, and souvenirs are additional.

Yellow fever vaccination is required for entry into Ghana. You will be required to have preventative medication for malaria. Please consult your physician on recommended vaccinations, which may include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, typhoid, COVID-19, meningitis, booster as needed for tetanus-diphtheria, measles, and a one-time dose of polio vaccine for adults. Two months before departure, at least 50 percent of the trip total must be paid. One month prior to departure, the trip must be paid for in full.
